Man stabbed 'multiple times' in Middleton

A man has been charged with Section 18 assault
Police are appealing for information following a stabbing in Middleton
Police were called to Kemp Street in Middleton yesterday afternoon to a report of a stabbing at a pub.
A 37-year-old man had been stabbed multiple times during an altercation outside the pub.
He was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition requiring surgery.
Jordan Darcy (21/01/2000) of Newton Crescent, Middleton has been charged in connection with the incident.
He has been charged with Section 18 assault - wounding with intent and has been remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistratess Court on 22 February 2022.
Detectives are appealing for anyone with information or video footage to get in touch with police.
