Two women in hospital with serious injuries following crash in Chadderton

Broadway remained closed for several hours as the investigation continued
Two elderly women remain in hospital - one in a critical condition - following a car accident in Oldham.
Officers were called around 6.20pm on Tuesday (1 March) to a report of a crash on Broadway in Chadderton.
An Audi A4 and a Suzuki Swift had been in collision with one another at the junction of Broadway and Eaves Lane.
The Audi left the scene following the accident.
The occupants of the Suzuki - two women aged in their 60s and 70s - were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Both currently remain in hospital, one in a critical condition.
Broadway remained closed for several hours as the investigation continued.
Sergeant Andrew Page of GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: "This was a serious collision which has left two elderly women in a serious condition in hospital.
"A full investigation is currently underway to establish the full circumstances of this collision and locate the driver of the Audi. We're appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed the collision or the two vehicles in the area at the time to get in touch with police.
"I would urge anyone in the area at the time to check their dash-cam or CCTV footage as you may be holding footage that could greatly assist our enquiries."
