Oldham's annual open air concert, Party in the Park, is scheduled to return on Saturday 17 September.
Organised and run by volunteers from Delph, it will play the village’s Huddersfield Road cricket ground after a two year absence.
Covid restrictions saw the charity fund raiser cancelled in 2020 and 2021 but event secretary Anne Hargreaves has confirmed it will return in September.
Anne said there have already been requests for regular pitches adding: "After what we have all been through for the past two years, everyone, and I mean everyone, is looking forward to a huge party as we all get back to normal. We are delighted its up and running again.”
Event management company New Image Ltd, which has worked with the volunteers for 15 years, will be alongside the village to help provide a spectacular day out.
1800 people attended the last event in September 2019.
