A tiger was spotted in Oldham
Police were concerned earlier this week, after they received a report of a tiger on the loose in Oldham.
A concerned member of the public had called officers to report a tiger in nearby gardens, that appeared to be pawing at the grass.
Officers were dispatched to the scene to investigate.
On arrival, however, they discovered that the tiger was in fact, stuffed.
The toy 'Tony The Tiger' had been left next to a tree, resting calmly.
Police said: "Tony the Tiger was asked for a comment about Oldham police he said "They're grrrrrrrreat!"
Cuddly Tony is now safely booked into lost property at Oldham police station. If you're missing a Tony the Tiger toy, he's ready for collection.
