Oldham's MPs are demanding that Boris Johnson resign after he was issued a fixed penalty notice for breaking Covid rules set by his own government.
The Prime Minister, Chancellor Rishi Sunak, and the Prime Minister's wife Carrie Johnson will all be fined as part of an investigation by the Metropolitan Police.
The police have said they would not be naming all of those who received the fines, but the government had promised to reveal if Mr Johnson and Mr Sunak were among them.
It's not clear which specific events led to the fines, as the investigation looking at a number of gatherings at Number Ten.
This afternoon, Oldham West and Royton MP Jim McMahon supported a call from Labour Leader Sir Keir Starmer for Mr Johnson to resign.
Sir Kier said: "Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak have broken the law and repeatedly lied to the British public. They must both resign.
"The Conservatives are totally unfit to govern. Britain deserves better."
Sir Keir's comments were also echoed by Oldham East and Saddleworth MP, Debbie Abrahams.
Meanwhile Failsworth MP, Angela Rayner said the Prime Minister's defence of the Covid gatherings had been "blown out of the water"
"He told the country all the rules were followed in Downing Street - but that was a lie.
"Widespread criminality took place at the heart of his Government."
A spokesperson for the Covid-10 Bereaved Families For Justice said the British people had been "taken for mugs".
"After everything it’s still unbelievably painful that Boris Johnson was partying & breaking his own lockdown rules, while we were unable to be at loved ones' sides in their dying moments, or in miserable funerals with only a handful of people.
"We were following the rules.
"The fact that Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak then lied about it, and would have continued to do so if the police hadn’t intervened, is truly shameless.
"They broke the law.
"But even worse, they took us all for mugs."
The Met is investigating alleged Covid law-breaking at 12 gatherings in Whitehall and in Downing Street.
So far, more than 50 fines have been handed out.
