Distinguished guests at the CWTC open day
Oldham's Centre of Wellbeing, Training and Culture (CWTC) held a successful Open Day and Community Consultation Event, supported by Action Together.
The purpose was to introduce the services of CWTC, joint working, and what support services are available for the diverse communities through Community Consultation.
85 people attended the event, including: Madam Mayor Cllr Elaine Garry, Cllr Shaid Mushtaq, Cllr Aftab Hussain, Basit Shah, Arif Choudhry from GEO TV, Oldham Community Radio, various training providers and local residents from Oldham.
There was positive feedback about the great facilities for health awareness, courses, work placements, community Podcast, YouTube channel and the audio recording studios available.
Residents were able to find out about support and training available from other services, and working partnership was established.
CWTC would like to thank all for attending and their continuing support.
