A 29-year-old man has been taken to hospital with head injuries following a collision with a bus in Manchester city centre.

The incident happened on Friday afternoon (3 June) at the junction of Princess Street and Mosley Street.

It's believed the man was on roller skates.

PC Karl Horner, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “As our investigation continues, we are hoping the pedestrian makes a full recovery.

"Due to the bank holiday and weather, Manchester City Centre was busy yesterday so we have no doubt that members of the public may have witnessed this collision and the lead up to it – perhaps even capturing footage on their mobile phones.

"I ask anyone with information or footage, whether that be from mobile phones, dash cams or cyclists’ action cameras to share it with us without delay.”

The man remains in a stable condition in hospital.
