Man faces numerous charges after city attack

Detectives investigating a number of sexual offences which occurred in Manchester city centre have secured charges.
Darren Roche (aged 36), of no fixed abode, has been charged with committing an offence with intent to commit a sexual offence, sexual assault, attempted rape, common assault and attempted robbery.
He has been remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today (Tuesday).
The charges relate to incidents on Granby Row and Plymouth Grove last week.
