Mountain rescue aid injured walker

The casualty was transported to hospital for further assessment
Twelve members of Oldham Mountain Rescue Team were called out yesterday evening (Wednesday) to assist North West Ambulance Service to locate and help a lady with a lower leg injury.
The callout officer made contact with the casualty and ascertained her location in the Dovestones area.
The team were deployed and quickly located, administered first aid for an ankle injury, and used the team's stretcher to carry the lady to the nearest road.
She was then transported to hospital for further assessment.
The team were involved for 90 minutes.
