The group of eight churches, that meet at the King George V Playing Fields in Uppermill on Whit Friday morning for an open-air service to celebrate Pentecost, hold a collection each year in aid of a pertinent charity.
This year’s chosen charity was Christian Aid’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal and £1,294.07 was raised on the day.
