Five year sentence for Oldham drug dealer

An Oldham man has been jailed for possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs.

Jack Stockwell, aged 22, of Raleigh Close in Oldham, has been convicted at Minshull Street Crown Court and sentenced to five years in prison for possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs as part of a county lines drug operation.

Led by GMP detectives, the investigation saw Stockwell arrested on March 11, 2022 at his home address, on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

Working closely with partners including Oldham Council, GMP contributed to the multi-agency response.

DC Kavita Young, of GMP’s Oldham’s Complex Safeguarding Team, said: “This investigation and subsequent conviction has shone a light on the recent work of our Unit and our commitment to securing the best possible outcomes.
