Appeal issued after asbestos is dumped on road in Royton

Oldham Council have issued an appeal for witnesses after a pile of potentially dangerous asbestos was dumped in the road in Royton.
A post on the Council's 'I love Oldham' Facebook page read: "We are appealing for info after this asbestos was found on Rochdale Road, Royton around 12.30pm on September 18.
"A specialist team had to clear the waste up.
"Did you see a lorry shed its load or do you have dashcam footage?
"Please get in touch with us. #DontTrashOldham."
