Man charged following Rochdale murder

A man will appear before Manchester Crown Court today

A man has been charged in connection with a murder that took place on Industry Road in Rochdale in the early hours of Monday (October 3).

Keiron Oldham, (aged 36) of Industry Road, has been charged with the murder of a 21-year-old male.

The male is believed to be Liam Richardson, although formal identification has not yet taken place.

Oldham was also charged with two counts of false imprisonment and affray.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear before Manchester Crown Court today (Friday).
