Officers investigating an attack at the Piccadilly Tap pub outside Manchester Piccadilly station in Manchester are releasing CCTV images in connection.
On the evening of Sunday, October 2, two groups, who had been watching a football fixture earlier that day, arrived separately at the pub.
At just before 8pm the groups played pool against each other before a fight broke out between two men, one from either party.
Other members of the groups intervened and split up the fight.
However, one of the men involved then smashed his pint glass in the face of one of the men who intervened.
As a result of the attack the victim suffered lacerations wounds above and below his eye.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
