£1m worth of cannabis seized from Milnrow premises

Police officers have seized 1,800 cannabis plants with a street value of £1million after raiding an address in Milnrow.
At around 2:30pm on Saturday (November 12), emergency services were called to reports of a fire at a premises on Harbour Lane in Milnrow.
Police officers attended the scene and located a large cannabis farm and illegally bypassed electricity connections which had resultantly caught fire.
1,800 cannabis plants worth a total of £1 million in street value were seized from the premises and have since been destroyed.
Greater Manchester Police have since launched an investigation into this and are conducting further enquiries.
