A team of community angels - Joan and Paul Sykes, and Rosanne and Geoffrey Fielding - from Scouthead and Austerlands Community Group, presented a £250 cheque to a local foodbank.
It was the second £250 cheque from the community group they have presented this year.
Joan remarked that shelves were not as full as in February.
“More people are using the foodbank, so more donations are needed because people are struggling,” said Mrs Sykes.
