Ace, the trainee search dog who is the youngest member of Oldham Mountain Rescue Team, and his handler, Rick Beswick, spent their weekend in the Lake District training with others from Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England.
Things got a bit Christmassy out on the hill, but soon returned to normal with Ace sleeping off the hard work in the pub.
Said an OMRT spokesperson: “It was a worthwhile weekend and Ace is progressing nicely with his training.”
