Woman hospitalised following Scouthead traffic collision

One woman was taken to hospital
Emergency services rushed to a road traffic collision between two vehicles at Scouthead in Oldham earlier today (Wednesday).
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “Just before 9.30am, two fire engines from Mossley and Chadderton fire station, along with the Technical Response Unit from Ashton, were called to reports of road traffic collision involving two vehicles at Oldham Road-Platting Road in Scouthead, Oldham.
“Crews arrived quickly at the scene.
"Firefighters using cutting gear and spreaders worked to make the area safe.
"One woman was taken to hospital by colleagues from North West Ambulance Service.
"Firefighters were in attendance for around 50 minutes.”
A GMP spokesman said a woman in her 50s has been treated for minor injuries.
