Chadderton fire station open day raises £1,400 for charity

An open day at the Chadderton fire station was well attended at the weekend, and a collection raised an amazing £1,400 for the Fire Fighters charity.
The Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service Tweeted: "Thanks to everyone who came to Chadderton Fire Station open day yesterday (Sunday).
"The weather held out so we had lots equipment on show, fun fair proved a hit & 600+ people learnt life saving CPR skills.
"Thanks to your generous donations we raised almost £1,400 for @firefighters999."
