A magic evening awaits at the Timeless Ball!

Date published: 19 August 2023

A magical evening of dining, dancing and entertainment is coming to Oldham this Autumn in the shape of The Timeless Ball.

Hosted by Oldham Theatre Workshop’s Friends Company, the glittering evening, to be held on Friday, September 29 at Chadderton Town Hall, will provide guests with a fantastic night of entertainment including a three course meal, live music, auction prizes and dancing, plus some very special guests who will be on hand to help make the night an occasion to remember.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Oldham Theatre Workshop Friends Company, which provides financial support to Oldham Theatre Workshop, enabling young people from the local area and across the North West to access the fantastic services it provides.

Jen Edmondson, Chair of the Friends Company, said: “We want the ball to be a celebration of all things Oldham Theatre Workshop, bringing together some of the best talent and entertainment in the region to help give something back and support the amazing work of our favourite theatre group.”

James Atherton, Creative Director at Oldham Theatre Workshop, added: “The Friends are key to helping us create new opportunities for all young people in Oldham, providing practical support, raising awareness and fundraising to enable the future development of our long established and well-loved theatre company.

"I’m really excited about this event and would advise people to book their tickets sooner rather than later to avoid missing out on what’s sure to be a fantastic night.”

Tickets to the event, which will take place at Chadderton Town Hall on Middleton Road, can be booked via the Eventbrite site here

Tickets cost £50 per person including a welcome drink, delicious three course meal and a night of live music, entertainment and dancing.

Becoming a Friend of Oldham Theatre Workshop costs just £2 a month, helping to fund additional activities and equipment for the youth theatre group, as well as ensuring young people whose families may be challenged during the cost of living crisis are not excluded from accessing the opportunities on offer.

Access to previews, special events and ticket launches are some of the benefits of being a Friend, as is receiving updates and information about everything Oldham Theatre Workshop
