A ladies-only night of glamour, glitz and fun, all for a wonderful cause

Date published: 24 September 2023

Ladies are being invited to indulge in an unforgettable evening of glamour and entertainment where sophistication meets sizzling excitement.

‘Peckers’ is an exclusive ladies-only night which will help raise vital funds for Willow Wood Hospice in Ashton, to support patient care.

The inaugural event is the brainchild of Danni Carnegie, who runs an Oldham-based cleaning company called ‘Done & Dusted’.

One of her cleaners, who was in her 30s, went on a girls night out and her drink was spiked.

She suffered a heart attack and sadly passed away.

Danni has been thinking about safe environments for women to let their hair down and prevent future spikings – a subject which has also made national headlines in recent times.

So, she came up with the concept of ‘Peckers’ – the male version of the American-style entertainment Hooters.

Danni feels passionate about supporting our local hospice and has been a keen supporter of Willow Wood.

On the night, you will be greeted on arrival by the charming butlers dressed in nothing but the shortest of shorts and bow ties, ready to serve up a delightful selection of shots at your table.

Their impeccable service and charming personalities will make you feel like royalty throughout the enchanting night.

There will also be a show-stopping drag queen to keep you entertained with a mixture of sass, humour and jaw-dropping glamour, and a disco where you can dance the night away to your favourite party tunes.

You will be able to dive into playful games and stand a chance to win some fabulous prizes.

So, ladies, all you have to do is round up your squad and prepare for a night brimming with laughter, dance and unforgettable memories as you step into a world of opulence.

The event is taking place on Friday, October 6 at The New Bower Fold Events, off Mottram Road in Stalybridge.

Doors open at 7.30pm and you must be 18 years old or over to attend.

Tickets are £20 each, which includes your first shot with your chosen butler and entrance to all of the games.
