Kind-hearted players and coaches from the Santos Sharks under-12s girls' football team took time out from training to visit the Royal Oldham hospital's childrens' ward.
The team called in with their giant elf, Elfie, and gave the poorly children on the ward a gift and some chocolates.
The Sharks are part of the bigger Oldham club, Santos AFC, and they are currently working their way through their '12 missions of Christmas'.
Sharks under-12s coach Donna Freeman told the Chronicle: "This was our chosen mission.
"Santos AFC is a football club that wants to help the community as much a possible.
"I am trying to show my girls that teamwork can be achieved on and off the pitch, and as a team we can work together to give back to the community."
The full Sharks team includes Willoe, Brooke, Sienna, Ruby, Beau, Scarlett, Darcy, Lacee, Noelle, Franchesca, Lilly, Mirren, Esmae and Evie, while the assistant coach is Kate.
What a lovely gesture, girls.
