Firefighters dash to blaze at Chadderton caravan storage yard

On Saturday night, firefighters used three hose reel jets and a spray plate to extinguish a blaze which involved several caravans and motorhomes in Chadderton.
Crews remained in attendance yesterday morning (Sunday) to monitor the premises and ensure the area is safe.
A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service statement read: "Shortly after 8:50pm this evening (Saturday 17 August), six fire engines from Chadderton, Oldham, Hollins, Heywood, Rochdale and Ashton fire stations were called to a fire on Stock Lane, Chadderton.
"Firefighters arrived quickly and are currently working to extinguish the fire and make the area safe.
"Crews remain in attendance at this time."
