Mountain rescue called to Delph incident

The Oldham Mountain Rescue Team were contacted by North West Ambulance Service about a female who had slipped and injured their ankle in a field near Delph.
Team members were mobilised and were quickly on scene.
The casualty was assessed by a team medic before the ankle was splinted.
The casualty was then moved onto a stretcher.
After a short carry to the road, they were placed into the team’s vehicle to keep warm.
The casualty was then handed over to the ambulance crew once they arrived.
A total of 15 team members were involved for one-and-a-half hours.
