They arrived in Oldham from Kashmir in the 1960s, originally working in the cotton mills and settling in the Werneth area.
Mohammed and Amna's first house was on Napier Street, next to what became the High Point Hotel, their first car was a Ford Capri, and thesedays they still love a good plate of fish and chips from Levers!
They now have 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mohammed and Amna - who celebrate their Platinum anniversary - put their wellbeing down to having a loving family, a network of friends, healthy eating, regular activity and always having a sense of humour!
