A fabulous team of staff from The Pinnacle Trust completed the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run on Sunday.

Staff across the locally-based trust take part in this event annually, with this being the sixth time a Pinnacle team has entered.

Almost 100 staff and family members from Oldham Sixth Form College, the Hathershaw College, Werneth Primary School, Broadfield Primary School and Alexandra Park Junior School joined forces to complete the 10k course in support of The British Heart Foundation.

Jayne Clarke, CEO of the Pinnacle Learning Trust, said: "It was wonderful to be part of our amazing trust team taking part in the Great Manchester 10K again, and fundraising for the British Heart Foundation, which is a brilliant charity and one that means a great deal to many colleagues and their families.

"The run on the day is always such an incredible experience and the build-up, with staff training together and organising our fundraising all contributes to supporting staff wellbeing and sense of belonging within our trust."

Jenny Seabright, Principal at Alexandra Park Junior School, the most recent school to join Pinnacle, said: "Colleagues from Alexandra Park Junior School had a brilliant time joining our trust team colleagues for the first time in the Great Manchester Run.

"We shared an amazing experience together that we will never forget.

"We are proud to have raised funds for the British Heart Foundation so that this can support finding cures and treatments, relating to heart and circulatory research, to give more time with loved ones.

"Well done to all of our Pinnacle colleagues who took part - superb teamwork and a huge thank you to everyone who donated."

So far, £3,068 has been raised for BHF and any donations can be made via their JustGiving page here
