Visitors to Saddleworth villages on Saturday were warned they could bump into a dinosaur or a showbiz celebrity.
The annual unofficial Saddleworth Beer Walk was filled with a dedicated bunch of happy fancy-dressed fundraisers, taking a wobbly route through the villages.
Justin Brown and his sister Angie were in the driving seat as organisers of this yearly event which has quietly be raising funds for participants dedicated charities and good causes over 17 years.
They lead a 16-storm team dressed as race mechanics and where ready for any emergency.
Said Jason: "It’s a really popular event and many folk have become firm friends by taking part in the beer walk over the years.”
And watch out for the dinosaurs, they are an amusing reminder for local Malcolm Kirkpatrick, it was his 50th birthday.
He took part in the event with his mother, Norma, family and friends.
He beamed: “I’ve never been on the event before - it is great fun.”
