Join the Playhouse 2 for a season of opening nights and final bows

Season tickets are now on sale for the 2025-2026 season at the Playhouse 2 theatre on Newtown Street in Shaw.

As a season ticket holder, you can see all five plays in their exciting new season for just £45 - a saving of £15 off the standard ticket price.

The season comprises of a varied selection of plays from different genres and generations ensuring there is something for everyone.

Playhouse 2 is often referred to as Shaw’s hidden gem.

This 153 seat theatre venue in the heart of Shaw has a long - standing reputation for producing high quality productions which sell out quickly.

Becoming a season ticket holder gives you access to advanced booking allowing you to book your tickets before they go on general sale.

It gives you the opportunity to book your favourite seats too.

Take a look at their 2025 - 2026 Season Brochure which details all five plays and includes an application form with further information on how to purchase online or using the paper booking form.

Forms must be submitted by August 24 to allow time to process the application before advance booking opens.

Over the course of each season the venue also provides a wide variety of entertainment including gigs, films, a professional pantomime and Congress Players annual musical.
