The Pinnacle Learning Trust (PLT) has once again been recognised as one of the top 10 performing trusts in the country, at the Edurio Trust Value Awards.
PLT celebrates continued success and recognition as two of its academies came home with awards, as well as a third for the trust itself.
Oldham Sixth Form College (OSFC) won the National Staff Choice Award (being recognised as one of the top 10 in the country where staff recommend their academy/trust as a good place to work), followed by Werneth Primary School receiving the Regional Career Development Award.
The trust was yet again a recipient of the Trust Value Award (once again being recognised as one of the top 10 in England).
The Trust Value Award is based on data from Edurio's national staff surveys and identifies trusts where employees feel confident in the value of being part of their trust community.
It highlights a positive staff environment, good culture, and strong support, often leading to higher staff retention and a greater sense of belonging.
The Pinnacle Learning Trust, which includes Broadfield Primary School, OSFC, The Hathershaw College, Werneth Primary School and Alexandra Park Junior School, has a very strong reputation locally and beyond for providing an excellent education to its pupils and students, and as an exceptional employer, providing strong support to leaders, teachers and support staff.
The trust also provides high-quality professional development both locally and across the country.
Pamela McIlroy, Chief Operating Officer, and recipient of the award, said: "We are absolutely delighted to receive the Edurio Trust Value Award for the second year running.
"This recognition reinforces our trust’s value of belonging and is testament to the collaborative work of our colleagues across all our academies to transform the lives of children and young people in our trust.
"We are also immensely proud that Oldham Sixth Form College has been recognised for the second year for a Staff Choice Award and Werneth Primary School for the regional Professional Development Award."
