A man has been charged following an investigation into a series of burglaries across Oldham and Tameside.
The charges have been made following an investigation which arose from an arrest by a Tameside neighbourhood crime team officer in Audenshaw on December 9, relating to burglaries targeting residential properties in the Fitton Hill area of Oldham, and Denton and Ashton-under-Lyne areas of Tameside.
Modou Jammeh (aged 19), of no fixed abode, has been charged with:
33 counts of attempt burglary dwelling with intent to steal
Three counts of attempt burglary other than dwelling
Theft from motor vehicle
Theft
Section 47 assault
Possession of Class B
Fraud by false representation
Possession of a bladed article
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Tameside Magistrates Court today (Thursday).
