Festive charity afternoon tea brings smiles, songs and Christmas cheer

The Annual Team Hill Charitable Trust Festive Afternoon Tea was a huge success again this year.

The charity event brought together people of all ages for an afternoon full of fun, laughter and Christmas spirit.

The room was buzzing from the moment the doors opened, with plenty of tasty treats, drinks and festivities helping everyone get into the festive spirit.

There was a real sense of togetherness as families, friends and supporters gathered to enjoy the afternoon.

Everyone was delighted to welcome the Mayor and Mayoress of Oldham, who joined the celebrations and spent time chatting with guests.

Their support added an extra special touch to the event.

One of the highlights was the brilliant performances from the Moorside Community Choir, who filled the room with well-known Christmas songs.

Their singing had everyone smiling - and even joining in!

The excitement went up another level when Father Christmas made a surprise visit.

Children were thrilled to meet him, and adults couldn’t resist the festive fun either.

Most importantly, the event helped raise money for the Team Hill Charitable Trust, supporting the amazing work they do to make a difference in the world.

Fund-raiser extraordinaire Steve Hill shared his delight, saying: "It was wonderful to see our community come together, enjoy the afternoon and support such a meaningful cause.

"The kindness and generosity shown will help us continue making a positive difference in the world.

"A huge thank you to everyone who came and supported us.”
