Man charged with drugs supply and engaging in sexual activity with a child

A man has been remanded into custody to next appear at Manchester Crown Court on Monday, February 16
A man has been charged following a drugs raid in Moorside.
Steven Norris (aged 38), of Fresca Road, has been charged with three counts of offering to supply Class A drugs, being concerned in the production of class A drugs and engaging in sexual activity with a child.
He has been remanded into custody to next appear at Manchester Crown Court on Monday, February 16, 2025.
The charges relate to a warrant conducted at a property on Fresca Road on Friday (January 9) alongside colleagues from Cheshire Police.
A quantity of chemicals suspected to be used in the supply of drugs have been removed from the address and will be disposed of safely.
Meanwhile, two other men from Failsworth have been charged following an investigation into drugs supply.
Anthony Mills (41), of Glenmore Drive, has been charged with being concerned in supply of Class A drugs.
Thomas Johnson (28), of Hampton Road, has been charged with being concerned in supply of Class A drugs and possession of criminal property.
Both men have been remanded into custody ahead of a scheduled appearance at Minshull Street Crown Court tomorrow (Wednesday).
The charges relate to an investigation into the supply of Class A drugs.
