Stephen McGarvey, aged 62, was last seen at about 9am on this morning (Tuesday) at Castlewood Road, Salford.
Stephen is described as white, approximately 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build with short, greying brown hair.
He is possibly wearing a red jacket.
Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for Stephen and want to make sure he is safe and well.
