Arriving on Intake Lane at the same time as the ambulance, the team were met by the biker's friend and taken to the casualty site by him.
The team’s Casualty Carer assessed and treated an ankle injury and mild hypothermia before the biker was packaged on the stretcher and carried down to the NWAS ambulance for transport to hospital.
Said OMRT leader Rob Tortoiseshell: "Thank you to the passer by who loaned his jacket and sleeping bag, and to White Lee Farm for allowing us to park in their yard.”
Twelve OMRT personnel were involved for one hour and 30 minutes.
