Amplifier: the band that’s making a noise

MANCHESTER band Amplifier inhale influences such as Led Zeppelin, The Police and Massive Attack and exhale a sound all of their own in a puff of ragged riffs and distortion pedals.

They are loved by the likes of Radio One, XFM, NME, Kerrang, Metal Hammer and Q Magazine and have performed with a host of exciting artists including Deftones, Therapy and Oceansize. Their debut album sold 5,000 copies and generated critical acclaim and a host of new fans for the band leading to extensive touring in the UK and Europe.

The trio carve out their own identity rather than following the masses and celebrate all that’s good about rock and roll. The lads are recording their third and fourth albums — “Mystoria” and “The Octopus” — simultaneously in a bid to free up space for as many live shows as possible next year.
