A bit of all right, still

LOUDMOUTHED Londoner Lily Allen disappeared off the radar after cracking debut album “Alright Still”.

Yes, she’s had her chat show and we’ve seen her stumbling — or being carried — out of countless celeb hotspots. But she’s not been doing much singing.

After a tumultuous few months in her private life — Lily suffered a miscarriage and painful mishaps in her lovelife — it seems Keith Allen’s daughter is back with a vengeance.

New album “It’s Not Me, It’s You” — due for release in February, 2009 — will be followed by a UK tour which stops off at the Manchester Academy on March 15.

Single “The Fear” is released next month and has already been featured as Scott Mills’ Record of the Week on Radio One.

The 24-year-old, who sold out her recently announced show at London’s Koko in less than an hour, last toured the UK two years ago.

Visit www.gigsandtours.com for tickets to see Lily live or www.lily allenmusic.com to find out more about the star herself.

Lily will be supported on tour by La Roux. Music bible NME claim La Roux is “the coolest voice to come out of the UK club scene” and told readers to “expect to see her on all the Big in 2009 lists”.

La Roux — AKA Elly Jackson — favours timeless electronica underpinned by classic songwriting talent. Visit www.myspace.com/ larouxuk to find out more.
