Reformed Abba is fans’ Waterloo
Date published: 13 January 2009
OVER the past few years we’ve seen Take That, Spice Girls, The Police and Led Zeppelin embark on hugely successful reunion tours with Blur, The Specials and Cliff Richard and The Shadows set to join them in 2009.
But it’s Swedish band Abba that fans would most like to see donning their flares and taking to the stage once again. An online poll by ticket exchange site Viagogo asked participants to name the one act they would like to see reform with Abba beating off competition from Manchester boys The Smiths, indie legends The Stone Roses and a full Take That line up with Robbie Williams.
Guns n’ Roses, Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, The Faces, Wham and The Jackson 5 complete the Top 10.
