Debut album “First Love” — released earlier this month — cemented Emmy The Great’s reputation as straight talking, no nonsense rockers. First single “We Almost Had A Baby” creeps up on the listener before delivering a startling finale.
The album, which is self-released, self-funded and self-produced, is crammed full of savage observations and stark admissions presented simply. Emmy worked with guitarist Euan Hinshelwood and pianist Tom Rogerson on the album at a dilapidated studio in rural Lancashire.
