JASON Quever — aka Papercuts — was raised on a commune in Humboldt County, California.
Orphaned at a young age Jason travelled up and down the US West Coast before finally settling in San Francisco in the late 90s.
Jason recorded his first album “Mockingbird” in 2004 and set up his own recording studio soon after.
His second album “Can’t Go Back” appeared in 2007, to delightful critical acclaim and Jason’s star began to rise.
Third album “You Can Have What You Want” is due for release next week and Jason claims it is his most explorative effort yet.
Catch him live at Manchester’s Deaf Institute, along with My Latest Novel, on Thursday. Visit www.my space.com/thepapercuts to find out more.
