IAN Siegel’s earliest musical memories feature Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis and Chuck Berry — and it’s these early influences that fed a lifelong passion for the blues.
As a teenager, Ian worked as a roadie and was asked to sing one night — he blew everyone away and it all snowballed from there.
Over the years, Ian has appeared with a number of big blues artists as well as performing at huge jazz festivals.
Supporting Ian at the Roadhouse, Ashton, tomorrow are country blues boys Jerzey St Band. Call 0161-344 0321 for tickets.
