A MAJOR festival that links Manchester’s artistic, musical and cultural worlds will take over the Northern Quarter this weekend.
Hungry Pigeon will be staged from Friday to Monday featuring performances from Nine Black Alps, Karima Francis and Misty’s Big Adventure.
The festival will culminate with acts playing on a large stage in Piccadilly Gardens in front of 5,000 people.
Manchester Radio Online will broadcast live from the festival which will take over venues such as Night and Day, Dry Bar and Moho Live.
Art events, such as a treasure trail, graffiti demonstrations and street art will take place throughout the festival.
The wife of Inspiral Carpets keyboard player Clint Boon will also host a tea party at TV21 from 3pm on Saturday.
