AUSTRALIAN rockers The Drones are hitting our shores hot on the heels of a sell out tour of their homeland.
The quartet have just released critically acclaimed new album “Havilah” and are ready to showcase their tracks in a series of blistering live performances.
Music mag Mojo says “Havilah” is “speaker bleeding blues” while NME claim The Drones are better than The Vines or Jet ever were.
“Havilah” is an album of contradictions - bombast meets beauty, melancholy lyrics wrestle with violent guitars and floaty lyrics battle it out with poetry.
Check them out at Manchester’s Roadhouse in Newton Street on Friday.
