A TRIO of North-West bands will go head to head in the ultimate regional showdown.
Manchester boys Carnation will battle it out against Leeds offering Japanese Fighting Fish and Liverpool’s Fly With Vampires.
Carnation only got together in January but the quintet have bonded thanks to their shared love of classic musical style and draw inspiration from the past to create their sound.
Japanese Fighting Fish deliberately attempt to delight and confuse their fans all at the same time in a bid to help the crowd lose themselves in the music.
Driving rhythms, off kilter riffs and pounding basslines are the key for Liverpool quartet Fly With Vampires.
The three bands will be playing in Liverpool and Leeds but you can check them out at Manchester’s Dry Bar on Thursday.
