REUNIONS — everyone is doing it, from Take That to Blue to The Spice Girls to NKOTB.

Irish boy band Boyzone filled the gap in many a teenage girl’s heart when Take That split up.

The cheeky chappies quickly won us over with their Irish charm and twinkly eyes.

The quintet had six number one hits, selling in excess of 10 million albums and sold out stadiums and arenas all over the world. When they split in 2000, lead singer Ronan Keating went on to have huge solo success with hits such as “Life is a Rollercoaster” and “When You Say Nothing At All”.

Stephen Gately enjoyed success on the stage while Keith Duffy took up a stint as rogue barman Keiron in “Coronation Street”.

Mikey Graham slipped into obscurity while heartthrob Shane Lynch appeared on several reality TV shows, most notably “Celebrity Love Island” and “The Games”. In 2007, the boys announced a full UK reunion tour and speedy ticket sales proved their fanbase was still around and hungry for more.

Comeback single “Love You Anyway” went straight to number five in the charts and a new studio album is expected later this year.

If you were one of the teenyboppers screaming for Boyzone you can relive your youth at the Manchester Arena on Friday and Saturday.
