SINCE she sprang up out of nowhere with her flesh-coloured leotards and bows in her hair there’s been no escaping Lady Gaga.
“Just Dance” and “Poker Face” are two of the year’s biggest singles and her debut album, “The Fame”’ enjoyed a lengthy stint at number one.
She’s supported the Pussycat Dolls and is gearing up for a stint with Take That at Manchester LCCC this week.
You can catch the dramatic diva at Manchester Academy on Monday. Visit www.ladygaga.co.uk.
l TAKE That, The Spice Girls, Spandau Ballet, even the Nolans . . . everyone’s at it and now Blur have got in on the act.
Until last week, the original line-up of the 90s indie band (Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree) hadn’t played together since 1997, so Friday’s gig at the Manchester Arena will be a real treat for fans old and new.
Support comes from Klaxons and Florence and The Machine. Visit www.gigsandtours.com or call 0871-2200 260 to check ticket availability.
