Star line-up at the Roadhouse

FANS of up and coming bands have a treat in store thanks to another stellar line up at Manchester’s Roadhouse venue.

Tonight, Stoke band Friends of Ken will stop off at the Newton Street club as part of their nationwide tour to promote new album “Il Tempo Gigante”. They will be joined by Pencil In, San Sebastian and The Rearrangements from 8pm. The gig will be followed by clubnight Sex With Robots.

Indiana rockers The Ataris will play on Wednesday for what is one of their only UK dates this year.

The band are gearing up to release their heavy metal version of Don Henley classic “Boys of Summer”.

Thursday is alt rock night with stints from Blacktop, Lines in Sand and The Vonkemps.

Designer Magazine are taking over the club on Saturday to present an unsigned showcase featuring Bombfires, The Soul and Special K. Strange Fruit club night will follow the gig.
