The family man is managed by his wife Grace and son William runs his MySpace page.
In his battle to get back to full health, Edwyn, who has made seven albums over his 20-year career, performed at Glastonbury last year and T in the Park this year.
Colorama, fronted by Edwyn’s friend Carwyn Ellis, will open the show at Manchester’s Deaf Institute tonight.
