Not so sweet Lily

SHE may be bolshy, bold and brassy but Lily Allen has done a whole lot for girl power.
Keith Allen’s daughter worked hard to make it as a recording artist after creating a MySpace page and catching on through word of mouth.
The 24-year-old is well known for being opinionated and paved the way for new acts such as Pixie Lott, Little Boots and Ladyhawke.
Her debut album “Alright, Still” was full of poppy tracks detailing Lily’s exploits with various boyfriends past and present.
Follow up “It’s Not Me, It’s You” showed a more mature side to Lily with electropop and reggae influences.
She’s tried her hand at presenting with BBC Three chat show, “Lily Allen and Friends”, but she’s back to what she knows best with a UK tour that stops off at the Manchester Apollo tonight and tomorrow.
