SIMPLE Minds and OMD will appear on the same bill for the first time as they perform Kraftwerk’s “Neon Lights”.
Simple Minds frontman Jim Kerr said: “Kraftwerk were the link between a whole generation who used synthesisers to define some of the most glorious pop music of the 1980s. In our own way we want to honour their influence.” Catch both bands at the Manchester Arena on Thursday. Visit www.ticketline.co.uk for more information.
Natalie Imbruglia has come a long way since Beth in “Neighbours”.
Debut album “Left Of The Middle” sold seven million copies in 1997 and her most recent release “Counting Down The Days” hit number one in 2005. Single “Shiver” was the most played song on radio that year And who could forget “Torn”?
But it seems Natalie (34) has re-invented herself again with new album “Come To Life”. Even Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is a fan. Catch her live at Manchester’s Club Academy on Sunday.
