The uber-cool New York trio sound like no one else and it’s only when you hear them again that you realise how much you’ve missed them.

Frontman Huey Morgan teeters on the line between self-assured and arrogance but his irresistible charm means he’s bagged some of the hottest women around.

It’s hard to describe their music which fuses hip-hop rock and roll blues, jazz and soul. Like The Killers and Kings of Leon today, the UK loved FLC first. Formed in New York in 1993 by nightclub-working colleagues Huey and Fast, FLC gatecrashed the euphoric Britpop party in 1996 with their debut album “Come Find Yourself” which gave us the cackling refrain “stick ‘em up punk, it’s the Fun Lovin Criminals” and the Pulp Fiction–sampling “Scooby Snacks”.

For the next four years, FLC were living the dream, supporting U2 on tour and releasing two follow up albums.

During their five-year hiatus, the brothers Crim found other creative outlets.

Sixth studio album “Classic Fantastic” brings sunshine and cheer to cold winter months and has an innate ability to make you want to dance.
